Michael Caputo is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist works with people one-on-one to navigate difficult emotions and thinking (anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, anger management). He works with couples and families to improve and deepen connection. He also works with those facing difficult life experiences related to career, to medical condition and to mortality. He is a nonjudgmental therapist who practices being open, clear and empathetic with clients. He is trained in family systems theory and leans on approaches related to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and, with couples and families, Relational Life Therapy. In the end, Mike will use flexibility to meet the needs of the client(s).

It also sees people as navigating an internal system of thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and that we are informed by our experiences from birth to one minute ago.

It’s worth noting that prior to becoming a Masters Level (Mercer University Graduate) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (NY and GA), I worked as a journalist, a broadcaster, a moderator and a group facilitator.

In other words, I’ve been practicing how to act relationally for my adult life.

Let me put that to work for you.
